Pros & Considerations
Graphics
The painterly cel-shaded world remains one of the most attractive RPGs of its console generation
Music
Motoi Sakuraba's score and Chopin performances are fundamental to the game's identity
Story
The dying-dream framing gives its colourful fantasy world an unusual melancholy undercurrent
◇Consider
Pacing: Philosophical cutscenes and repeated thematic monologues can run much longer than the surrounding gameplay
