The royal family falls
Falena is ruled by Queen Arshtat, whose unstable control of the Sun Rune has already devastated Lordlake. Rival noble houses scheme over the marriage of her daughter Lymsleia. The Godwins rig the Sacred Games, then seize the palace in a violent coup that kills Arshtat and her husband Ferid. The prince escapes with Lyon, Georg and Sialeeds, while his young sister is made a captive queen.
The 108 Stars gather
The prince recruits allies across Falena and builds an army capable of challenging the Godwins. Rescuing towns, healing the damage done to Lordlake and establishing a headquarters turns the resistance into something more than one family's claim to the throne. The Prince learns how nobility has distorted the kingdom's institutions while the Dawn, Twilight and Sun Runes shape the balance of power.
Sialeeds and Georg's secrets
Sialeeds unexpectedly defects and spirits Lymsleia away, prolonging the war. Her motive is not simple loyalty to the Godwins: she believes the old noble houses must exhaust themselves so the royal children can rule without their stranglehold. Georg also bears a terrible secret: he killed the possessed Arshtat at her own prior request, when the Sun Rune drove her beyond control. His apparent betrayal was an act of grim mercy.
Ending explained: the Sun Rune and the Stars
The prince defeats Gizel Godwin, then confronts Marscal and the corrupting Sun Rune. Lymsleia is restored as queen and the old Senate gives way to a new representative body. The personal ending depends on recruitment and decisions: if all 108 Stars are assembled, Lyon can survive; other outcomes allow her to die or the Prince to leave with Georg. Full recruitment and the Prince's relationship with Lymsleia can let him remain to serve Falena alongside Lyon.
