Story and background
A brilliant physician in Lahan whose calm guidance conceals deep familiarity with Solaris and Emperor Cain. His loyalty and withheld knowledge complicate Fei's journey.
Events and connections in the series
An encounter between military Gears devastates Lahan. Fei enters Weltall in an attempt to defend the village, but the resulting destruction kills people he cares about and forces him to leave. Citan Uzuki accompanies him, and Fei soon meets Elly, a Solaris officer whose compassion clashes with her military role.
Historical context
The Xenogears story spans millennia between the Eldridge catastrophe and Fei’s era. Solaris, the Contact and the Antitype connect personal tragedies to the attempted restoration of Deus. Characters may occupy very different places in that engineered history.
